Hollywood's Slots Permanent Casino to Open on July 1st, 2008
The official debut of the brand new Hollywood Slots casino in Bangor, Maine is scheduled for July 1st, 2008. The officials of the slots gambling facility informed the members of the state Gambling Control Board this week about the official timeline for the grand opening of the establishment that will offer 1,000 slot machines. That is twice the number of the slot machines at the temporary facility of the Hollywood Slots at the former Miller's Restaurant facility.
The slot machine operator plans to lock down the temporary facility on June 29th, 2008 after closing hours. The move to the new slots gaming facility would then be accomplished in twenty-four hours, allowing for the opening on July 1st, 2008.
Aside from that, a seven-story hotel facility near the permanent slots facility will open on August 2008. The permanent slots facility will also have a four-level parking garage that can accommodate 1,500 vehicles. It is expected to generate a lot of income for the state, which will in turn help the balance the budget of Maine for the current fiscal year.
