Odawa Casino Resort Grand Opening on July 25, 2007
The Odawa Casino Resort will have their grand opening on July 25, 2007 in Michigan. Bill Cosby will perform at the grand opening.
The gambling casino opened some parts of their facility to the public on June 20, 2007. The resort will offer many gaming activities and is sure to have a lot of entertainment options for different people.
The casino cost around $140 million to build. It also has a 46,700 sq ft gaming floor which contains 2 roulette tables, 20 blackjack tables, 6 additional blackjack tables for the high limit area, 6 poker tables and 2 craps tables.
One of the craps tables is used for tournament purposes. Aside from that, there is also a nightclub named the O Zone, which has a dancing area and party pods that can hold up to 8 people and features a plasma television and a personal fireplace.
In addition, there is also Waas-no-de, a Las Vegas style buffet that features over 100 food options and can host 350 people.
The other dining area in the casino is Sage. The Ovation Hall is the convention area of the casino. It can hold up to 1,000 people for concerts and 500 people during sit down gatherings, like weddings and corporate meetings.
