Red Hawk Casino Looks for Prospective Employees
On September 21st, 2008, with work finishing up on northern California's latest Indian Casino facility, prospective employees are invited to attend a two day hiring event. As the Red Hawk Casino facility near its grand opening, about three hundred people participated in a Job Fait at the casino's Temporary Employment and Training Center in El Dorado Hills. The would be employees all hoped to get one of the 1,750 jobs that are available at the casino, from food service and housekeeping slots to positions working on the casino gaming floor.
Casino spokeswoman Heidi Hamers said that they have a positive response regarding the job fair and it has been overwhelming on their part to see a lot of people answer their call. Hammers commented that they already have received 11,000 applications. A complete list of the available positions can be seen at the Red Hawk Casino site as well as the step-by-step procedure on how to apply.
Casino officials expect the Red Hawk casino to open in late 2008 or early 2009. The hiring continues Monday from Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the hiring center on 1117 Windfield Way in Eldorado Hills. Interested participants are encouraged to bring updated resumes and dress accordingly.
