The much awaited publication of the Sunday Times annual Rich List has finally been released. This publication is highly popular due to the fact that it exposes who the top 1,000 wealthiest people are in Britain and Ireland.
This year’s Rich List concentrates on identifiable wealth. In addition to the main list, there are other categories and sub categories that are listed according to industry. One sub category is online gambling entrepreneurs, which is located under the digital and online industry category.
Due to the fact that this sub category even exists is proof that the online gambling industry is doing well in Britain. One of the primary reasons for the expansion of online gambling in the UK is because it was one of the first to legalize and regulate it.
The top three wealthiest entrepreneurs of the list include:
1- Peter and Denise Coates (Bet365), £750 million plus
2- Russ DeLeon & Ruth Parasol (PartyGaming), £733 million
3- Peter & Fred Done (Betfred), £660 million
